Privacy Policy
Effective June 24, 2026 · CyRaHop
This Privacy Policy explains how CyRaHop ("CyRaHop", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (the "Platform"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission ("NPC").
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
1. Who we are
CyRaHop operates an online marketplace that connects customers with independent partner laundry shops for pickup, washing, and delivery services across the Philippines. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act, CyRaHop acts as a personal information controller for the data you provide to the Platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account information — name, surname, mobile number, email address, and password.
- Order & address information — your saved pickup/delivery addresses (unit, street, subdivision, barangay, city, province), map location/coordinates, landmarks, and order details.
- Transaction information — items ordered, amounts, fees, payment method (e.g., GCash, Maya, card, cash), and payment status. We do not store full card numbers; online payments are processed by licensed payment providers.
- Communications — messages you send to shops or support, reviews, ratings, claims, and inquiries.
- Partner (vendor) information — for shop owners: business name, owner/contact details, address, government and business permits (e.g., Mayor's Permit, BIR registration, DTI/SEC, government-issued ID) submitted for verification (KYC), and payout details.
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and cookies or similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your identity (including email verification codes).
- To process, route, and fulfil your orders, and to arrange pickup and delivery.
- To facilitate payments and, for partners, settlements and commission billing.
- To provide customer support and handle claims, refunds, and disputes.
- To send service-related notices, and — where you have not opted out — promotions and offers.
- To verify partner shops (KYC), prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Platform secure.
- To improve our services and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. How we share your information
We share personal data only as needed to operate the Platform:
- Partner laundry shops — your name, contact number, address, and order details are shared with the shop you ordered from so it can fulfil your order.
- Delivery/courier providers — third-party riders or delivery services receive the information needed to collect and deliver your laundry.
- Payment providers — licensed processors handle online payments; we receive confirmation of payment status, not your full card details.
- Service providers — hosting, communications (email/SMS), and analytics partners acting on our instructions.
- Legal & safety — government authorities or other parties when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect certain features.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we deactivate it and remove or anonymize your personal details, while retaining transaction records as required for the partner shops' bookkeeping and legal obligations.
7. Data security
We implement reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and role-based access so partners can only see their own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address incidents promptly.
8. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access and correct your data, to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing, to data portability, to erasure or blocking under lawful conditions, and to lodge a complaint with the NPC. You may also designate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Children
The Platform is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without appropriate consent. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
